Hand Injuries occur mainly in manual workers. Preservation /Restoration of even minimal function goes a long way in adding to the utility of the hand and gives independence ,confidence and self reliance to the patient. Keeping this ideology in the back of our mind we even repair minor injuries like nail avulsions and nail bed injuries. As the spectrum and severity of injuries increases so does the level of our effort to restore the function of the hand.
