Professor Ehtesham ul Haq is a qualified Plastic Reconstructive & Craniofacial Surgeon. He did his MBBS from Army Medical College (QAU) in 1989.After teaching gross anatomy at Army Medical College Rawalpindi for 03 years, he joined training program in general surgery in CMH Rawalpindi. CMH Rawalpindi is the largest Military Hospital in Pakistan and remains the hub of training in all fields of Medicine and surgery. After obtaining fellowship (FCPS) in surgery in 1999 he went on to do further training in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in CMH Rawalpindi in 2002.He obtained his second fellowship in (FCPS) Plastic surgery in 2005. Dr. Ehtesham then got further training in Craniofacial surgery from Oxford craniofacial unit (John Radcliffe hospital) UK in 2007-2008.He has started craniofacial surgery services in Pakistan and is a pioneer in this field in this country since year 2009. He is also a faculty member of AOCMF Middle East and life member Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons (PAPS). He has several publications to his credit.
