Cleft Lip and Palate correction

Cleft Lip and Palate is the commonest congenital deformity effecting the mid face region. Surgical correction for lip is ideally done at 3-6 months of age and gives satisfactory results. Palate repair is done after 9 months of age. It is essential for speech development of these children.
